Baidyanath Ichhabedi Ras (Jaypal Yukta) is an Ayurvedic medicine that helps with chronic constipation, ascites, ascites fluid, excess gas, and other stomach problems. Ichhabhedi Ras helps improve digestion and regulate the bowels as a tonic. It is also used in Panchakarma methods such as Virechana. Ichhabedi Ras contains potent micronized herbals, minerals, and other Ayurvedic herbs to improve detoxification and organ function.

Indications

Helps in case of chronic constipation and irregular bowel movements

Helps in the case of ascites and bloating

Dosage and Administration

Unless instructed by an Ayurvedic doctor, dosage is generally 250 mg (approx. 1 tablet) before or after meals.

The purgation continues during the intake of water, so during this time, ample water should be consumed.

Post illness, it is required to have rice along with buttermilk to calm the digestive system.

Precaution

Has heavy metal constituents, so can only be used with proper medical supervision.

Do not self prescribe, and the dose and duration have to be meticulously adhered to.

Not safe for pregnant or nursing women, also for young children as well.
